Customer Reviews: Avg. Customer Rating: 3.5 / 5.0 Useless with LCD:
It's a godsend for tall people: After a hideously long wait ... I finally had a chance to use this with my Sony 200 PS monitor, and it works great- I don't have to slouch and the area underneath lets me stash USB hubs, reference manuals, and other goodies. After one day, my backaches are starting to fade already. Forget it if you have a Sony: I have a new 19" flat screen monitor from Sony, who makes them with feet instead of a pedestal. This Fellowes stand may be able to take the weight of a 21" monitor, but it can't take the width, if the monitor is a newer style like mine. My monitor's feet are 15" apart; the stand is 13" wide. (Note: the box Fellowes sells it in is 18" wide and doesn't have the stand's measurements on it) I Finally Stopped Slouching: Prior to purchasing this, I'd spend quite a bit of time looking down into my computer monitor. Needless to say, I was slouching for hours at a time and suffering from neck and shoulder pain. I finally found the solution by ordering this monitor riser.
