The clear Hummingbird Paradise lantern feeder is well made, easy to use, and looks great in a tree or on the back patio. Made of redwood, brass, and etched glass, this tropical, fun feeder uses three copper-colored flowers to attract brilliant hummers. Because the wide base gives the birds plenty of room to land, you can hang the feeder just about anywhere. Filling the feeder is easy: simply flip it over, pop off the base, pour in a sugar solution (directions included), and quickly flip it back. Removing the base requires a bit of force, and you have to be careful not to damage the flowers when you grip, but, overall, this is a very solid, long-lasting feeder.

Hummingbirds Love the Red Glass!: 
The Schrodt Designs Hummingbird Lantern - Paradise Ruby Feeder is the most attractive to the birds in our yard. They look for red the most often. We have tried other bird feeders that were clear or blue, but these are so easy to clean and attract the most number of birds. There is always a dusk feeding frenzy just before all go to sleep for the night.
My wifes favorite hummingbird feeder.:
THis is my wife's favorite feeder. It is easy to fill, doesn't drip, and the birds fight over it even with several other feeders nearby. We have had it for a year now and it has withstood the weather well. There has been a little darkening of the wood but that actually makes it look more attractive. The glass bottle is very tough and has withstood a drop onto a concrete porch without chipping or breaking. We plan to buy several more early this spring.

I love this feeder! It was an instant success in our backyard & we have hummingbirds feeding at it constantly. It's easy to clean & hang. It's well worth the cost & I highly recommend it.
Pretty: 
The funny thing with this product is that the glass part looks like it came from a bottle. It's an upside down bottle. Ingenuous, and pretty at the same time.
Maintenance is simple. The hanging chain, with a small ring at the end, is adequate if you have a hook somewhere (like an S-hook).
Not sure where the hummingbirda come from, but they come. Lovely.
