really bright!:
I purchased this stylus for my nursing practice last year. It serves well, however I think it is a little too bright for my patients, even though no-one complained it blinds my eye for a minute for sure when I tried it on me. It's sturdy and comfortable, but maybe a little too long. I wish it were shorter. I am not sure how long the battery will last as I use it for 10-15 seconds 2-4 times a day to check pupil reactions and assess ophthalmic nerves. Five stars.
NOT BAD:
Okay first I ordered this stremlight 65022 ice blue I got it right away. but was not happy with the blue light it would not work for my use. you see I am a maintenance repair man. and I need a bright light with me all the time. so I sent it back and got the white light. the only thing neg. I can say about these Streamlight Stylus Flash Light is. You are going to need deep pockets to keep this thing from droping out.it is a bit to long. that pocket clip you see in the picture can be pushed only to a point... more info
Excellent general purpose light:
This is one of the best penlight I have purchased. It is very solidly built and the light is more than adequate for my need. As others have already noted the battery being AAAA size is hard to find and expensive. Unless you use this penlight daily in your line of work, the battery will hold its charge for a long time. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
Useless!:
I hate this light. Mine stopped working properly right after I bought it five years ago. It turns on really dim and you have to shake it around to get it to light fully, and then it'll only stay bright if you're lucky. Sometimes it just goes out completely. Nothing much more annoying than a flashlight that doesn't stay on. Stuffing tin foil between the batteries seemed to help a little.
