Stainless Steel bristles on the head last through many grill cleanings and rinse out thoroughly. The steel scraper on the top gets off all kinds of baked-on food debris, but is not meant for use on porcelain cooking grids as scratching can occur. Much better than other brushes I have gone through over the years of BBQing. Well made and looks like it will last longer than ones in the past.

I have never seen anything like it - came infested with termites:
I have opened the box, took the brush in my hands and almost dropped it. It was all drilled thru and eaten by the termites, or some other wood-eating bugs! Amazon box was covered with their excrements on the inside. It is not worth returning this item, as it would cost more in spent time to ship it back, so I just sprayed it with pesticide and threw it away. Please be advised not to buy this product.

I was very pleased when I opened the package and looked at the grill brush that I had purchased. It is well made with a hardwood handle (I think it is oak) with a rubber grip that covers a portion of the handle. The metal brissels are pretty standard for this brush but the weight of the brush makes it feel formitable in your hand. I have not used it yet as it is to late in the year to be grilling, at least for me. However, I would recommend this brush to anyone looking for a well made product.
So -So:
The construction is solid enough but the brush is absolutely flat. If it had an angle to the head / handle it would greatly increase it's usefulness.
