The traditional porch swing seat is solid unfinished fir and comes complete with hanging chain. The swing seat can be hung from a porch beam or rafter or used with either of these metal swing frames: Country Garden model #CG-70G or Woodland model #WL-70Z

You get what you pay for: 
It is what it is. A cheap wooden swing. I searched quite a bit on line and in stores and this is by far the cheapest swing I could find and there is a reason. Finish quality is mediocre at best. Was expecting it to be "ready to stain" but it needs more sanding to actually be truly stain ready. The wood is thin and cheap, doesn't look like it will take much use. On the plus side it shipped quickly and came with hardware. It is worth the money but just barely.
It fell to pieces: 
I bought this late last year but only recently had it put together and hung as it was a cold winter. Unfortunately, it was not a comfortable swing with the seat too short and too flat and it's definitely flimsy with the back making a cracking sound the first time I sat in it. As a matter of fact I sat on it last weekend and it completely broke! I'm not that heavy and I hate to think what would have happened if there had been 2 people sitting on it. I don't think it could actually hold 2 people at once. I'll...more info
Not solid.:
It is ok for the price but it is not a solid wood and may not last.

I am in the home renovation business and have purchased swings from Jack Post Jennings twice now. I have yet to find a lower priced swing anywhere. Not only that, the last one I bought had a split in the seat (due to a knot in the wood where a manufacture's screw was inserted). All I had to do was call the company and they immediately sent me a new seat, no questions asked. I highly recommend this product.
