Treats will become soft and pliable at 100 degrees (F) if exposed to extreme heat during shipping and storage. They will return to normal hardness again at room temperature.
Suet Treats are produced by blending the highest quality ingredients available. Consisting of melted fat, sunflower seeds, millet, & corn, which are then poured into the tray and allowed to harden.

Fine product for great price:
I first set up a suet feeder at my father's when he moved to a rural setting. It attracted all sorts of birds -- even species that supposedly do not care for suet. I have since set up a suet feeder outside my window in NYC, and the city birds flock to it, especially in winter when food is scarce. Not only does it satisfy the birds, but it entertains our cats too. I highly recommend this product.
Excellent Product:
The birds in my yard love this suet and during the cold, winter months they often go through more than one cake per day. I have been very pleased with warm weather use as well because the cakes don't melt in the heat like some brands do.
C&S is also very generous in the amount of seeds they use in their suet, so I feel like the birds are getting my money's worth! Excellent product, consistently superior quality and reasonably priced.
From the looks of it, the birds don't care for this suet:
I usually have to put out suet everyday for the variety of woodpeckers that come to visit my yard... but when I put this one out it seems to stick around for 3 days.. I just don't think the birds care for it very much. The other one I use is Morning Song brand, and it seems to go much quicker.

BEFORE DISCOVERING THAT AMAZON.COM SOLD SUET I WOULD ALWAYS GET MY SUET AT AGWAY BUT THE HOURS WEREN'T ALWAYS CONDUCIVE. THE BIRDS AND THE SQUIRRELS LOVE THIS SUET.
