SpotBot never worked:
From day 1, the switch for the automatic brush did not work. "Manual" use is ok, but, as others have mentioned, the water is only partially vacuumed. I compare it to a Hoover which, alas, is no longer made. For the price, I believe all the advertised functions should have been operational. A relatively heavy appliance such as this should have at least two wheels.
Can't say enough good about it:
I can't say enough about my SpotBot. I have a dog and a cat, and both have a real knack for vomiting on the carpet instead of my tiled rooms. The SpotBot ALWAYS gets the spot out. Amazing, given that my carpet is very light tan, and the spot usually bright orange. Per the recommendation of previous reviewers, I use spray bottles for the Little Green and oxygen cleaner -- rather than putting those solutions into the machine's reservoir. I purchased this item for my son who has two dogs and a cat and he loves it -- works better then expected - would definately recommend the spotbot
On the Spot Cleaner:
Imagine waking up one morning to find a plate-sized splat of dried vomit on the bedroom carpet, and then finding scattered about the rest of the house multiple small spots stained with vomit or diarrhea.
