You've seen them in restaurants and theaters--those tubes full of lights proprietors use to mark stair edges and other potential hazards that might be fallen down or tripped over in dim light. That's not to say that Good Earth Lighting's rope lighting products can only be used in public venues--you could use them as funky accent lighting in a living room, party lighting, or to outline a path in your backyard.
The key to using these lights to full effect is mounting them securely, and everything you need in order to do this is included in the hardware kit, which contains mounting clips, cable ties, and screws. The lights themselves are extremely long-lasting--they're rated at 35,000 hours, and the heavy-duty PVC rope is an unobtrusive 3/8-inch in diameter. For longer runs, you can easily connect one set to another (up to 330 feet maximum).

This Is The Real Deal:
I've seen these lights on gazebos and pergolas in magazines. I wanted the same lighting effect on my new pergola and I couldn't be more pleased. They provide a pleasing glow in the pergola. The lights are well designed. You can add one string after another, I used three (3) 12' strings to go around the perimeter of the new 8 X 10 pergola. Good lights, easy to use and set up:
These were everything I would hoped they would be. Easy to use and connect, easy mount, good lights.
Lights blew out within 1 day of using them.:
Within 24 hours of plugging these lights in the center section all blew out. They weren't even plugged in the entire time. Will never buy these again. Not worth returning as I'd lose more money than it's worth.
Great Deck Lighting!:
This is the second set we purchased....the first set wore out after years and years and years of daily use. We put these on our deck and they look so pretty and shed just the right amount of light too. We would definitely recommend this product to others.
