I think these red oven mitts are nice. They are a little loose, but no problem at all for getting hot dishes out of the oven.
Good mitt:
Good mitt - does its job. Fairly flexible, keeps off the heat, not too wide. The Green Apple color is not as pale as it appears on the web photo.
This item can be dangerous:
I have had several occasions where I could not release the item when I put it in or took it out of the oven. In both cases my dinner ended up on the floor. Thank god there wasn't a child near by. I think these should be recalled. The silicone strips are simply too tacky.
Just right for me:
This is expensive, but I like it so much that I just ordered a second one, so that I can have one for both hands. I love how quickly I can slip this on and off when I'm cooking with serious time pressure. I'll put this thing on and off a dozen times over the course of cooking something. The sizing feels just right for me. Hand open and flat, palm facing up, the measurement between my longest finger and the end of my palm / beginning of my wrist = 7.4". I would say that it's an average man size hand.more info
