1st one Broke, Buy.com took great care of me..:
The first product was broken in shipping, it took them a couple weeks to get my refund straightend out, but they more than made up for it with great follow up and great customer service. I repurchased the item, showed up in decent shape, and after using it for the first time last night, I love it.. Only wish they made a larger one...
Camp Chef:
The Camp Chef Campfire was just the right size to put into my firepit. Wished it would have come with the logs, but the lava rocks look good and they hold heat. Much cleaner than using logs that burn and we can use it even with a burn ban. Easy to transport if we go camping too.
We would purchase again....great value.
We are to old to camp:
My daughter had bought us one of the new popular propane heaters for outside for Xmas. The propane froze up when it was to cold. Which is obviously when you need it. So she took it back and we bought this little campfire. We really like it. It warms up fast and we can reminisce about back when. We roast marshmallows with our grandkids also. It is a lot of fun. The only drawback is sometimes when it starts as with anything using propane the flames can go outside the ring. Be cautious and safe.
Just like camping:
This product is exactly was I was looking for. It is easy to set up and the cord is about 3 ft long or so and the kids and I created a barrier for the propane tank and created a real firepit around the burner and it feels just like we are camping(in our back yard). You just barely turn on the propane tank and slightly turn the lever to open the burner and add a little flame and poof...you can have as little or a lot of flame to your evening.
