Not as great as I thought...:
I got this swing a few months ago for my newborn. Overall, the swing is a pretty good buy, but I do have a few complaints that I would like to point out to those of you who might be thinking about getting it. The swing noise is very loud. We had our newborn in this swing because she wouldn't sleep flat on her back, and it has a loud clicking noise when it goes from side to side/front to back. i don't like to review an item right away because i don't know if it's really good or not. well our little boy is 4 months old and we have been using this swing every day and every night for 4 months and we couldn't live with out it. it is sooo soft and plush and the music is so calming, my son almost can't sleep unless it's on! :) it swings great and the different speed settings are great! being able to turn it in 3 different directions with out moving the actual swing is the best!! Great Swing:
This is a wonderful swing. The newer model plugs in as well as batteries so that is a huge plus but the rechargeable work as long as you have two sets.
Great product, possible shipping damage:
This swing is wonderful for newborns - 4 month olds. My son is 4 months old today (~15lbs.) and still likes to swing and sleep in it, but he his getting a bit big for it. Look out for when your baby might lean forward and slump their head in their lap in this or any other cradle swing. The swing shipped on time but arrived with one corner crushed in.
