Don't waste your money!: 
I bought 2 of these units. I live in Chicago where there is not lots of humidity. It doesn't work. I returned the items (I'm still waiting for them to credit it to my account for over a month). The customer service is awful. Please buy a regular fan, cheaper and works better.
looks good but:
the first af 350 i received leaked water when ever it was running. i exchanged it for another. this one leaked all the time. you could actually see the water coming out of the fan vents and run down the face plate onto the floor.
No parts available:
ALERT! I have owned this product for 1 year exactly. The small pump which circulates water to the top of the filter and thereby creating the evaporative cooling effect stopped working. Now I have a very expensive rectangular fan. I contacted NewAir directly for information on replacement parts and was informed that none are available. I was shocked. No replacement pump or parts for the pump are available for this product. Unless you plan to use it for one year and throw it away, I strongly recommend buying...more info
NewAir AF-350- Save your money...it's just an expensive fan!:
Purchased a NewAir from Air and Water the distributor. Save your money, it is nothing more than a expensive fan. Had it for two seasons and the max cooling I was able to get out of it was about 4-5 degrees and I think the only reason why I got that was because it spits water out the front!. I have since upgraded to a Porta-Cool Cyclone 3000. Granted it is four times more expensive, but puts out 2400 CFM vs. 500 CFM and cools an area up to 700 Sq. Feet. Also it cools the air 15 to 20 degrees! If you want a...more info
