A complete waste of money and time:
I intended to use this to cool a small room as the product desc said it would. I used the cool option and added the ice as specified. It was a complete waste of effort. It did not cool. If anything, it generated warm air. I expected a small version of an evaporative air cooler. A swamp cooler should not even need ice to work. Do not bother..
great product:
I ordered this item from Amazon and received it in record time. This is ideal if you live in a dry climate like I do , keeps you cool and gives humidity. We have had record temperatures and this has been a blessing. I am not saying this will cool your whole house but it is portable and you can move from room to room, it is also a cost saving item compared to a window A/C
waste of money don't bother:
I bought this with hopes to keep my camper a little cool. I started by putting in my spare bedroom at home 12X12 room
and the room didn't get cooler at all, my niece who stays in there said it got warmer and she had to shut it off. I live in RI outside temp was in the upper 80's - low 90's. I tried it with ice and water and still not cool at all. Its a big waste of money and then to return it you lose a lot of money. Having to ship it back in the original box that has to be put in another box to ship... more info
