It defends well!:
I dropped my first iPhone and shattered the screen. I'm quite clumsy so when I replaced the phone I asked the guy at the Apple store what he recommended for me and this was it. Not a pretty case and it's quite bulky but I have dropped it multiple times, even down cement stairs and not a problem has come from the phone.
Best iPhone case:
I bought this for my husband's iPhone and he loves it. There's no other case out there that can protect the iPhone the way the OtterBox can. Highly recommend.
DO NOT buy the case for the belt clip!:
Two (2) days after I purchsed this case the belt clip broke. The case protects great, but if you're looking for a belt clip to carry it, look elsewhere.
Shattered iPhone screen no more:
A few months after I bought my first iPhone, it slipped from its cover and fell on a concrete sidewalk. Of course, the screen smashed into smithereens. I painfully had to replace the iPhone for $200.
